im always changing settings for my uber slow 56k modem. when i open device manager and change them, i apply and go to dial up networking and when i get the modem properties for the connection they dont change along with device manager. do i have to change settings in both or does one dominate the other no matter what the other is? i think i've read that device manager dominates.
