Hi dazeagle,

navapw32 - Leave untouched! Navapw32 Navapw32.exe (Symantec s Norton AntiVirus) Norton AntiVirus Auto-Protect for Windows 32-bit.

nsched32 - Symantec's Norton Anti-Virus (Norton s Program Scheduler.)

rnapp - Real Networks

Cmmpu - C-Media ... with sound or CMMPU, then leave it alone.

OSA - Microsoft Office's Office Startup Application. Present in
Microsoft Office 97, 2000, and XP. You can close this down.

loadqm - This task loads the MSN Queue Manager and is installed when you install MSN Explorer or MSN Messenger. If not required, disable from msconfig.

systray - essential Windows service. Do not close down either Systray or Explorer at any time.

You can safely disable MS Find Fast. It's an indexing utility but also a resource hog.

Hope this helps,

Regards, Gordon

Systray is useful, but not essential. It can be closed down, but there's not much point. You will lose the volume control icon (little yellow speaker) and the power management icon.

The point is that it is NOT essential.

And rnaapp has nothing to do with Real Networks. It's your dialup connection.

Rnaapp opens when you dial up, not when you start your PC (unless you are dialing up automatically when you boot.)When you disconnect it hangs around for a short period in case you want to reconnect. Somehow this expedites reconnection.

Bottom line - it's only running when it needs to be, so leave it alone.
