Taskbar-Keep Icons, Loose Text.

If I have three programs running, (Win98)

Windows Registry Guide (Version 1.3)
Yahoo! GeoCities - Internet Explorer
Inbox - Microsoft Outlook

I see these three rectangle boxes showing the icon and some of the text, why haven't I seen an interest in loosing the text and keeping the icon, anyone know if this is possible?
It would make things look a lot neater...

The text is the Window Title, it's there whether it's maximized or minimized.

When I have multiple Internet Explorer windows open, it helps me to have the text displayed.
