This file is in the c/windows showing it as an application. Mos-Dos name Killmons.exe 16,384 Byted used. What is this file for? Thanks to all.

No idea. Rightclick it and choose 'properties'. Does that tell you more?

If you go to Start > Run > Msconfig, is there any mention of it anywhere on the Startup tab?
