Does it seem to anyone else that a lot of these questions belong in the general registry forum, rather than in the tweak discoveries? My understanding is that this forum was more for..."Here's some information" rather than, "can you give me information?". Then again, if I'm wrong, I can take that too ;-)

James,
You are correct. The object of the Tweak Discoveries forum was for posting new tweaks that had been found or problems/success stories with existing tweaks.
We should probably have the administrator look at moving the posts to the appropriate forum.
Thanks for the feedback and prompt.
Cheers

I ran into the same thing in the Recommend New Software forum, did not think it was for arguing the merits of one program over another but simply posting of programs that may be of use to someone. But then I'm not a moderator.

Hi Bert,
I spoke to Pat and there's no simple way of transfering posts between forums as they have to be done manually so I'm afraid that if they are currently in the wrong forum then they will remain there.
Going forward, I will monitor the tweak forum (I don't moderate the software recommendations forum) and will move the posts manually if required.
Cheers
Andy
