Adobe Type Manager

Somewhere, way back when, I loaded Adobe Type manager (or at least I think that's the name of the program - it creates a small icon in the bottom left corner of my screen before the rest of the desktop paints, and is covered by the desktop thereafter, Version 3.2[?]). At any rate, since I don't use any Adobe fonts, I'd like to remove this, but haven't the slightest idea how do so. Any ideas?

It would help to know what version of Windows your running??

Are you running any Adobe programs?

Adobe Type Manager also changes a line in your system.ini
