Can anyone explain to me what a runtime error is, and why they keep popping up asking if I wish to debug? Also, I just recently downloaded IE6 with SP1 and installed it. Since then, IE has been crashing very frequently while I am surfing the net (i.e. Windows IE has encountered a problem...). It doesn't seem to care how many windows I have open either. It seems to be at random also, but I can not be sure. It can be simple text or pages with heavy graphics, it doesn't seem to matter. I am running WinXP Pro with every update available. I have DirectX 9.0 also. Any help, explainations, or fixes would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Here's a definition of runtime errors:
<a target="_blank" href=http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/sdbug/Html/sdbug_9.asp>http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/sdbug/Html/sdbug_9.asp</a>
You have script debugging enabled and that is why you are being asked to debug the errors. You can turn off script debugging in tools > internet options > advanced tab > under browsing select disable script debugging.
You may want to uninstall SP1 and see if your IE problem is corrected.
