...had a few probs with Windows 2000 Pro & had to use emergency disk to get things going again. All my desktop, outlook, IE settings etc are lost and have reverted back to original post-install format - I know it's unlikely, but is there anyway the old files may be hidding somewhere if they're not corrupt?
...The other thing that's puzzling me is the Document & Setting Files (not sure if this is seperate/same issue). The old "Firstname Lastname" user file (the one I want to use) is still there, but when I log on the systems using "Firstname Lastname.LASTNAME" instead. Tried deleting the latter, unwanted file but it just reappears when Windows re-starts....any suggestions?
