Greetings,
I use WXP and was wondering if anyone could recommend a performance type utility that would allow me to better manage memory and cacheing, prioritize memory allocation to specific applications and protect selected application's memory from being paged out or overwritten? I used a utility called Hurricane with Win9x and found it very useful. Since I cannot find Hurricane for WXP any suggestions would be appreciated.

Cacheman from Outer Technologies (www.outertech.com) is fantastic. It will adjust the disk cache to suit your needs, recover RAM etc. Have been using it for years on all my systems.
