I indirectly figured out a crack to the problem of using access xp and 97 on the same machine. There is no need to rename any font, all is needed is a slight tweak to the registry. It involves permissions to specific hive. I forget the exact hive at this time having cracked it at work, but I have it documented. Anyone who has this problem just reply to my post and I will gladly respond with the solution.
