Hi, I'm having trouble on our network with IE5. The encryption is set to 0-bit instead of 40-bit and as a result I cannot access any secure sites. I tried a search here and found that someone had posted a link to a web site for this problem, but my ISP filters out the page for some odd reason.
I tried installing 128 bit encryption, and it did work, but workstation control software undoes the changes I make so I need to know how the encryption is applied/determined so that I can force the network to accept the changes I make.
Can anyone give me any idea why the encryption is reverting to 0-bit and how I can tweak IE so that the encryption is at least 40 bit?
My guess is this is a registry tweak.
Thanks a lot.
