Hi,

"WARNING! Your drive may be corrupt. Pls let Autochk run".
-- I get this warning, in the NTDetect blue screen, everytime my system starts, without fail.

This happens if I do a Shutdown and then click the restart button, or choose "Restart the computer"
option in the Shutdown windows dialog.

I guess this means the system is not shutting down properly.
Any comments?
My OS: WinNT Works 4, Sp6a
Pentium 3. 512Mb

My suggestion would be assoicatied with your hd having bad clusters or sectors (do u do a check disk normaly or a defrag normaly?) This can happen to new hd as well as old so dont be alarmed (been there, seen it done it ...hehe )

Or could be a bad sys file due to an installation of a program or win update. Suggestions would be to check disk for errors then defrag ....after u reboot.

Or u could try to load last know config.

Hope this helps in anyway

It means autocheck is detecting a dirty bit. I'd suggest running chkdsk /r
