Hi,
This is sort of a repair Tweak. This happened to me a while back. Someone else posted the same problem at another Board. I thought it might be a good idea to post it here.
When TWEAKUI for XP repairs icons or removes the shortcut arrow, it changes a registry key and doesn't put it back. This results in a change of icons from the Win XP theme to a lower quality icon.
If you select 32 bit, you'll get the XP icons back. They will no longer show at 16 bit.
To remedy that navigate to this key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\WindowMetrics
Look for this String value in the right pane:
Shell Icon BPP
Double click on Shell Icon BPP
Modify the value to 16
Restart Explorer.exe or log off and back on to see the change.
