When I attempt to click on a link within hotmail, or within a program directing me to a particular site,
nothing happens. I’m using IE6. I had this problem before, but forgot how to rectify it. Thanks in advance.
Thread moved from Windows 95, 98 and Me forum to Internet Explorer forum

Close IE, click Start > Run
type regsvr32 urlmon.dll followed by OK

Go to IE tools/internet options/programs and turn on the check box for IE to check if it is the default browser. Shut down and restart IE. When it asks to be default browser, say yes.
This is absolutely vital if your hyperlinks are to work.
