how to prevent an automatical dialup (W98)

Hi, I use a dial up connection. For a few days now, every time I run Outlook Express it trys to dial up automatically. IE6 don't. Any suggestions to stop that automatical dial up? I know, I've seen the answer already at winguides in the past but can't find it again.

Gernot,
While in Outlet Express, go to Tools/Options/General Tab. Look in the middle area (Send/Receive Messages) and fix the internet connection settings as you want them.
