View Full Version : I think I'm losing my mind... (WME)

...although my wife would say I lost it long ago :-)

Anyway, I'm having a very annoying problem with a WinMe PC. Force some strange reason, I cannot get a "Client for Microsoft Networks" login box to appear. I've tried everything. I don't have any "auto logins" set using TweakUI or anything else. The O/S booys up to the "default" user and in order for me to get access to the other PC on my network, I have to log off the "default" user to get the login box I need.

Does anyone have any idea why I can't get the login box to appear during startup?

Fire up regedit and navigate to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\windows\curr ent version\network\real mode net\

In the right hand side if you see a value called AUTOLOGON, delete it
