Outlook Express (W98)

I can't open attachments (paper clips).A window opens up that says;this file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action.Create an association in my computer by clicking view then clicking folder options.Where do I go from there ????

What file are you trying to open? What extension does it have?

Cannot Open E-Mail Attachments in Outlook Express After You Install SP1

Don't know your email client , if Outlook Express , it can be repaired , let us know .

In the meantime , you can choose word pad .

Some attachments need paint or there are other formats .
If you right click on the attachment & go down to properties , it will tell you the format .

Opp's , see it is OE .
It may pay to repair . All you lose is your History files .

It may be as simple as an unknown file type.

I'd hold any other resolutions for the time being
