Just recently bought a computer for the children, 2nd hand. When I turn on the computer it keeps loading in safe mode. But when I shut it down properly and restart it for regular mode, I get an error that says "An I/O subsystem driver failed to load" The next paragraph says "Either a file in the .\iosubsys subdirectory is corrupt or the system is low on memory." I have a done a complete defrag and cleaned up the memory but it still happens. Plz any help to get this computer to at least load windows regularly woudl do!!

I/O error.
You might want to make sure there are no viruses lingering on your system like a master boot
sector virus that survives a format.

If you get a 2nd hand computer for you children, I really suggest you re format or re install the whole windows. That will be a quick fix.
