re super internet slow (WME)

i have win me installed and it boots and works fine but when i connect to the net it connects at 56000 bps but on the net it takes 10mins and i am not exagerating to load a webpage and is there any other program ik deerfields interquick co interquick has been discontinued

since it takes that long to load a web page no 3rd party program will resolve that. After you authenticate to the ISP the web page should be coming up immediately. Something else is going on. Id check with the ISP to see if there's any known issues. If not, I try another computer connected to the same phone line. If it's isolated to your computer. I'd remove the modem entry from device manager and reboot. ME will autodetect it and reinstall the drivers again. Create a new dialup connection and test again. Also, Id check the phone line itself. If possible connect from another wall jack. Also make sure there isn't any other internet program or firewall loaded when testing. It may also be a DNS problem on the ISP side too.

i have fixed this now i just took off me and it has worked fine there was no problem with isp but it was weird i think i had a corrupt edition of me but it is fixed now cheers for the reply
