Hp JetDirect on XP (WXP)

Ever since I got a new XP box I can't find or print to my HP LJ4MV with JetDirect card. I used to (and still can) print through my W2K box using DLC. I think I installed the DLC for XP from this site (double clicked on the inf file but nothing seemed to happen). Currently I have to go parallel and it is SLOW. Has anyone gotten this to work on XP? Or should I just go get a new laser printer that's XP network compatible?

If you already have an IP programmed into the printer then just install Print services for unix and then set the printer up as an LPR printer.

I tried this and it didn't recognize the printer. I give up. I'll just buy a new printer that's XP-compatible. This one's 10 years old now anyway. Thanks.
