What's a .sfx file and what can it be opened with?
(i think it might be a shockwave flash file i'm not sure)

According to the file extension library one use is for self-extracting file archives.

I put the wrong name of the file. this is it.
do you know how to open this.

I think you might be able to open them up with any web browser (like IE), but you would have to have installed the plug-in from <a target="_blank" href=http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash&P5_Language=English>Macromedia.com</a>
