Here's a good place for information about Modem Issues, Auto-Connect/Disconnect & Dialup for Windows XP.</font color=red> (http://216.239.37.100/search?q=cache:hM1WyETGrl8C:www2.cajun.net/~theriots/xpsitefolder/xp_modem.htm+HKEY_CURRENT_USER%5CSoftware%5CMicros oft%5Cras+autodial%5Caddresses&hl=en&ie=UTF-8><font)

This is one of the items mentioned:
<font color=blue>"To delete a name or address entry from the list: Start/Run/Regedit
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\RAS Autodial\Addresses
You can delete any TCP/IP addresses that you see under this key. Note that AutoDial can use IP addresses, DNS fully qualified domain names (FQDN), and NetBIOS names."</font color=blue>

Here is a site that's a good question & answer resource for RAS.</font color=red> (http://www.perkinscomm.com/newbie/ras.html><font) You should check out the whole page, but below is part of what they said.

<font color=blue>"Question: RAS tries to dial out even on local resources.
Answer:
Perform the following:
Start the registry editor (regedit.exe)
Move to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\RAS Autodial\Addresses (a better way to view these is to type "rasautou -s" from the command prompt)
In the subkeys look from the local address (and name). If you find it select the key and select Delete from the Edit menu.
Close the registry editor."</font color=blue>

Good luck,
