I went to install new software and it encountered a 'registry problem', it then went to restore registry and it was OLD. Currently, my computer is running OK however IF I go to install SW, it will revert to the registry BEFORE this one. How can I save the registry I am CURRENTLY using so that when it needs a backup, it will use THIS one. Why is this so hard to do? Should be a 'save over' type feature.
