Here's a stumper for you about Add/Remove Programs

In Windows Add/Remove Programs when clicking "Install" it searches the floppy and CD-ROM drives by default and then allows for user input. I want to make it search my desktop by default - bypassing the floppy and CD-ROM drives all together. How do I do this? I appreciate your insights.

That's where its set to search.

Why not just double-click on the file on your desktop?

I always use add/remove programs to uninstall but never use it for installs.
