I am using Windows 98 and have MS Office 97 installed. When using WordPad, I have several choices for "Save As" but the only .doc type is "Word for Windows 6.0". Is there a way to add the "Microsoft Word Document(*.doc)" choice to the WordPad Menu? Each time I save a file now, Word has to convert it to the new version. I do have the correct option in Word's Save As Menu.
