Don't throw anyway your old pc. I have an older pc with only 32mb ram on it. With this software, I feel like running 128 mb ram.
Try it and it may work for your pc as well.

Cacheman looks like a good product for users who want a bit of a boost with their memory. It costs $10.USD. Here's a link to the page which will tell you more about Cacheman. (http://www.outertech.com/product.php?product=3&PHPSESSID=f841dfdab3e963a34d3dafe445d2314a><font)
While I was visiting the Cacheman site, I noticed two small apps they distribute for FREE!. The first one is GetDiz. (http://www.outertech.com/product.php?product=7&PHPSESSID=f841dfdab3e963a34d3dafe445d2314a><font) Personally, I use Notepad to view these files, but maybe GetDiz would be a good gift for the person who has everything?
Here's its' claim to fame:
"Many downloadable ZIP archives have DIZ and NFO files included within them. Sure, they are simple text files that can be viewed with Notepad, but GetDiz is a freeware text-viewer especially designed for those files. Small, handy and specific."
Batchrun (http://www.outertech.com/product.php?product=6&PHPSESSID=f841dfdab3e963a34d3dafe445d2314a><font) is the other product I noticed.
Here's what they say about Batchrun:
"Batchrun will let you create batch files using a graphical interface. In the good old days of DOS .bat files took care of this task. They still do, but they're not exactly user friendly. With Batchrun .brs batch files you can launch any number of programs or dialup connections with just a simple click. You can control the starting process with many properties like priority or run mode and control their behavior a tad. You can even do more than starting programs with the built-in file management functions like Copy, Rename, Makedir, Delete and End Process. Batchrun batch files can be launched from Explorer or placed in StartUp folder or on the Desktop."
Both can be downloaded here. (http://www.outertech.com/downloads.php?PHPSESSID=f841dfdab3e963a34d3dafe445 d2314a><font) They are both small (GD=477kb & BR=678kb) and free! Both say that they're OK for all versions of Windows. Who could ask for more? After all, it's never too early to start your 2003 Christmas shopping. /images/forums/icons/wink.gif

As I have mentioned before, BATCHRUN is the best product I have ever found. As a matter of fact, that is the only free product I found that will let you start/end your process quickly without using so many clicks of your mouse.
I love BATCHRUN because I can simply end my process at any time I want (along with a windows scheduler)
As far as Cachman goes, I only found it big difference if you have a slower pc.
Again, your feed fack will be welcome

I've been using Cacheman for about 2 years. It works as advertised and is well worth the 10 bucks license.
