I have a problem with DNS over the VPN to work.
Webpages that use the real computer name work (DNS A records), but not webpages that use aliases (DNS CNAMES).
I tried using nslookup to check on it, and it timed out the first time I tried - with a two second timeout, then was able to reach the DNS server the next time.
My guess at the moment is that possibly CNAMES are checked last, and therefor take longer and fail the timeout? Is there a place in the Windows registry where I can change the timeout?Any other suggestions?
Thanks in advance,
OttawaGuy
