when running diagnostics on modem "cannot read Port name from Registry" error comes up. Modem does not work. I have removed and "found new" ports, removed and re-installed modem, changed com ports for modem, changed com port settings. There are no conflicts with any of the settings. Control panel, systems does not show the yellow "!" on either the com ports or the modems. I have looked through every book I own - nothing! Any ideas?
