I bought Microsoft "Return of Arcade" when I had 98se installed. I upgraded to 2000 Pro and can not play it now(Game uses 95,98,ME only). A recently repackaged version of the game is compatible with XP. Will these drivers work on 2000(I think they may) and does anyone know where I can find drivers? I don't want to spend another $30 and find out they don't work anyway. Thank you

Did you try running them in compatibility mode?

I believe 'compatibility mode' is only available in service pack 2 and higher.

try this

Quote from The_Dude:

Try using compatibility mode
Compatibility Mode

This is a function built into Windows® XP, and dded to Windows® 2000 as of service pack 2.

(To enable it on Windows® 2000, execute the command ''regsvr32 %systemroot%\apppatch\slayerui.dll'' from the Run prompt or a command console(without the quotes). You will need Administrator priveledges to enable this. Service Pack 2 or higher must be installed. This will add a tab to execution shortcuts called 'Compatibility'. You may want to check first to see if compatibility mode is already available. Do not do this in Windows® XP -- you already have it active by default.)
