I did a windows update the other day and then restarted my computer, when i tried to log in as usual (as adminstrator) I got a message that said that there was some kind of corruption and windows cannot log in as this user. It then signed me on to a temporary user. After restarting several times and loging in as adminstrator with the same result, it finally made a new adminstrator account. I would like to try to repair the corrupt file, but I do not have a windows 2000 cd, I just have a series of recovery cds for my laptop and they do not give me an option to repair the anything. How can I fix this problem?
