Windows xp has too many problems, and how can i, i mean is there any way to go back to win 2000 without losing my current data. Would i have to reformat and create new partition?
Or is there another way?

Hi,
I am afraid you cannot 'downgrade'. The best thing to do is to back up all of your files that you want to keep and then wipe the disk and install W2K.

when "upgrading" from win9x you can uninstall XP from the add/remove programs panel and revert back to 9x[assuming you haven't removed it's backup files in a disc cleanup or something] i'm not sure if that's the case with win2k tho, have a look and see if XP is listed in the add/remove panel....this of course only applies if you did the "upgrade" install over your old OS,if you did a format and clean install you'll have to do that again to revert back and there is no way to retain data/settings in that case
