HELP. I was downloading a file the other night from a web site when my machine started to do some very crazy things my firewall software started going off like a fire alarm my intrenet access speed slowed down to a crawl about the speed of a 24k dial up ( I am useing a cable modem) I ran a virus check on my drives with the anti virus definations updated and it found nothing, I ran adware it found nothing I also ran regcleaner it found nothing but still the machine is VERY slow. I also double checked my broadband connection with a second machine and it is running the way it should be. Is this a dos attack? What can I do .TIA
