Dial Up (W2K)

Okay here is the problem, I have a computer that is acting up. Whenever it is rebooted it always ask to dial up, but I am attached to the network. I check the IE settings and set it to dial only when there is no network detection.
Once I reboot, it asks me to dial up again, then I go check IE it is set back to always dial the connection.
The problem keeps arising everytime the computer reboots.
I am right now doing window updates hoping that would solve the problem. Can anyone help me.

Id set it to never dial a connection. Since the settings continue to reset it must be related to another program installed on the machine. This program is most likely set to startup when you login hence the reset. Or it could be related to the dialup settings themselves.

Well I did set it to never dial and it still resetted. But I will check to see if there are any programs that might have to do with it.
