Installation Problems :( (W98)

Hey everyone.
I havening a problem installing programmes to windows.
When ever I try and install something, shortly after the Setup Wizard of the programme starts, I get the following error:
"Unhandled Exception
Error number: 0x80070725
Description: Incompatible version of the RPC stub.
Setup will now terminate."

I hope someone can help me with this, as it's really getting on my nerves :(

SPUDGUN.COM ? WhooHooo !! thats funny ! we have made them since 69' ! never thought of marketing them. our 1st one was made outta tin cans taped 2/gether with duct tape, the last can had the bottom left in it & a sm. hole for lighter fluid. gosh dang !! that brings back memories ... :o)
