Hi!! I just set up my new computer using win98! It's my first time using it! :D
Ah and my problem is that the colurs displayed on my screen are not as high quality as my old computer which was running on win95. Here's an example. You know how the internet explorer icon always has a nice light-like colour and is feathery? :) On my screen, it's only one colour -- dark blue. It's not the same!! Would anyone know how t fix it?? It's on 32bit colur. I have a ATI radeon video card (is that the same as a graphics card?) ^^ Ah I hope t get the pretty colurs back soon because the grainyness and non-antialiasing is bothering me. oh yes, anti-aliasing has been turned on, but it is still rough and jagged on the edges of text!! -____- Please, if anybody can help me, reply!! ^-^ Thank yu in advance!

Hi! :)

Hi,

Video Card = Graphics Card = Display Adapter

Lots of names for the same thing.

I would check to make sure the correct driver is loaded for the card. Also, what resolution do you have the display set to?

Tooki,

Drivers are software needed to run hardware. In this case, the software to run your video card, in turn allowing your monitor to display correctly.
Go to either ATI's or your computer manufacturer's website and make sure you have the most current driver (software) for your video card.
