Email issue (WME)

For some reason my Anti virus is shutting down and I have my settings on email accounts set up with POP3 anit virus and i am unable to send or receive when this is happening, any ideas with this problem.

Hey Dan its Norton 2001, i found some info last night and there is a bug in some of the software. I believe it is just now showing its head, maybe because i have multiple addys now. There are some patchs but not sure which will fix this, waiting to see if it continues.

Yes Nana thats what happened but Norton shut itself down, i checked the settings then went and just turned it back on and now its working fine.

Some funny things have been happening, i have been getting those MS popup windows to report something if there is some problem on IE and it shuts every thing down when i say i DO NOT WANT to send it, closes all windows and such and i think it shuts off my AV also. I'll see if this happens again and if this iswhats going on, also my security settings have gotten changed when this occurs so its messing with everything.

I'm glad you were able to sort everthing out without having to do a reinstall of WinMe.
