View Full Version : Remove I.E. 6.0 menu options (W2K)

I am trying to secure our public internet computers at the Library I work at. One of the things that I'm having a problem with now is the 'View' Menu.

In it, there is an option for 'Explorer Bar' which has some stuff in it by default and some other things that I think may have been added by an update.

I would like to remove 'Tip of the day' and 'Discuss'.

Is there any way to remove these options with the registry???

I would also like any other info that is available for removing or blocking any other menu options in I.E. 6.0.

Thanks.

Pat

PatrickMoe,

Here are a few IE tweaks to get you started. The last one takes you to all the IE tweaks at WinGuides. The first three tweaks were all found at the last link.
