Here's another...

I've set my screen saver to be activated after 10 mintues. It doesn't. I'm using XP Pro with 4 users + the Guest account. I'm set up as an Adminisatrator, the others are Limited accounts. All users have the same issue, after 5, 10, 15 minutes no screen saver.

I've right clicked on the Desktop, went to properties, went to Screen Saver, did the setting stuff, etc. The only funky thing is I've checked the "on resume, go to Welcome Screen".

Help?

I know this isn't the answer you're looking for, but rather than a screen saver (which uses resources), why not just set the display - and hd if you like - to power down after a predefined period of inactivity? Much easier on your system.

Since I have 4 users (our family) and as the Administrator, after a certain duration I want to have the PC "logout" and automatically go the the "Welcome Screen". Using the XP SS allows this to occur, but randomly.
