Saving display settings (W98)

After going through a long process to remove a virus which included uninstalling and reinstalling Norton System Works, my screen reslolution has changed and all graphics are fuzzy (including this forum).

When I change display settings and then OK to rebbot the computer the settings to not change. How can I cahnge the screen settiings so I can see everything again? Any assistance is sincerely appreciated.

Have you tried creating a new profile to see if the settings are saved in that account?
