My registry is not in the Windows direectory nor can I pull it up as regedit.exe

HELP!!!

Also, a copy regedit.exe from another machine should be OK

Your Registry is in two files, User.dat and System.dat. It is edited by using the programme Regedit.exe. If you've deleted it by accident just replace it by searching the Cab files on the Windows 98 CD-ROM and place it back into the Windows folder.

Not quite the newbie I used to be, but still prone to the odd mistake :D
