Admin removed the ability to run regedit, is there anyway i can get it back.

p.s. i can write a program that reads and writes to the registry, so if there is a registry value in there i can edit that would be fine

Thanks for you time

Bri0015,

Honestly, I don't know the answer to your question.
But, if I did, your Administrator would not be very pleased with WinGuides if I provided it to you.
If you have a legitimate reason to need access to the registry, ask your Admin.

well you see in a way he would but in another way he wouldn't

its at my school and its a 3 hour class. And let me tell you, it can get boring.

he's turned almost everything off, so me and a few others have been trying to find a way to get games on there. So i need the registry to see what he has done.

and no, we are not those lazy people that get nothing done. i'm in a programming class and they are next door in the networking room and we are all at the top of our class. So we need something to do to pass the time.

Bri0015,

Sorry, I still don't know the answer, but I can appreciate your problem. In the "good old days" when I was in school, we had 4 different classes in a 3 hour period. I can't imagine trying to sit through one class - no matter how much I like the subject - for that long.

Good luck. I hope you can find somewhere to get your answer. It won't be here, though, sorry.
