If anyone knows how to display the small blue "display monitor" icon found in the taskbar's system tray (next to the clock) used to dynamically change resolutions in Windows 2000/XP, I would sure appreciate the information. This was a Powertoy in Windows 9X and seems to have been left out of the Powertoy set for XP.

You can use the old powertoy - it will work with XP. Or you can use multires</font color=red> (http://www.entechtaiwan.com/><font)

I am using Win98FE.
When I go to Control Panel, Display, Settings, Advanced; there I find the option to place a check in the box to place the icon in the system tray.
I do not believe it was part of Powertoys.
Perhaps XP has a similar option.
Here is how I put the display icon in my system tray in Windows Me:
I Right click on any blank area of my desktop;
Select Properties, Settings Tab, Advanced;
My Video Card Properties opens;
On the General Tab, Display Area put a check mark next to Show Settings Icon on TaskBar.
That's it! No power toys needed, sorry.
It's very similar to, maybe exactly the same as, Report_2 with Windows 98.
Hope it helps,

SmartWebAgentMob,
As indicated by the others, there are many graphic cards that have this as an option. Four come to mind:
1. Nvidia
2. ATI
3. Diamond
4. Intel Graphics
I'd suggest yopu right-clicik on the desktop, choose properties, click the Settings tab, then the Advanced
button and check all the tabs available.
