Unable to move files or folders (WXP)

I accidentally moved a folder from my Program Files directory to one of the $NtUnistall folders in my WINNT directory. However when I try to move/copy them back I get the following error dialog box :-

Error copying file or folder : Cannot create or replace <folder name> : Access is denied - Make surethe disk is not full or write protected and that the file is not currently in use.

The security permissions on the $NtUnistall folder are read-only, but when I try to change this setting (via right click properties), it never changes.

Also, I am logged into XP as a user with admin rights.

Anyone got any ideas how I can get round this as I need to move the folder and files back where they came from.

Gavman,

You can use System Restore to go back to a time before you moved the file.

you might need to take ownership. be careful and pay attention to the inherit options.

or maybe use backup to get them out and restore elswhere?
