View Full Version : IE save picture as.... (W2K)

When i right click an image and select 'save picture as' I am often (but not always) ONLY given the option to save as a BMP file - even if the properties of the image indicate that it is a GIF or JPEG.
Anyone know Whats going on???

Most times this can be resolved by clearing out your temp internet files.

Tools > Internet Options > Delete Files

What happens when clearing temp. Internet files DOESN'T work.

This now happens to me EVERY time - associated with this IE will not display animated gifs.

I cannot save ANY .jpg or .gif files in their proper format.
