from desktop,I right click on the IE icon,go to properties. In the

Internet Properties General tab contains USE CURRENT
USE DEFAULT & USE BLANK. I'm sure you have all seen these
a million times. Somehow these 3 previously mentioned options became

grayed out. I can not change my home page
Furthermore, when I try to access the Internet proporties
tab from within IE as opposed to going thru the desktop icon as I

just explained, here is what happens. internet
explorer is open, I click on the tools button then click on
internet options and receive a pop up error message that
says. OPERATION CANCELLED DUE TO RESTRICTIONS EFFECT ON
THIS COMPUTER, PLEASE CONTACT YOUR NETWORK ADMIN.
By the was this is a home machine and the only thing I have
installed recently is a program called SPYBOT SEARCH & DESTROY. So

i'm thinking this must of denied me access to my homepage settings.

I uninstalled the program, rebooted and still have no access to.

DOES ANYONE NO WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE IN ORDER TO AVOID RECEIVING THE

ABOVE MENTIONED ERROR MESSAGE AND GIVE ME BACK ACCESS TO MY HOME

PAGE SETTINGS AND INTERNET OPTIONS FROM WITHIN IE.
THANKS FOR YOUR TIME AND HELP
