Computer restrictions error (WXP)

Hi,
Internet explorer and windows xp' windows won't close, each time I try I get: "this operation has been canceled due to restrictions on this computer.Contact your system administrator."
Well,I always log on as a system administratior and I am not on a network.This problem doesn't happen with msn explorer,help anyone!!!

well, if you havent played with policies or your registry, then this is very weird. try backing up your files, and restoring original registry files. that would sure fix it.
