Great Little Program (All)

Howdy, great idea this forum.
Here's a great little image viewer/editor that a lot of folks may already know about. It's called Irfanview and is total freeware for home use. It runs under all Windows versions, and supports all types of image files, some through plug-ins. It's a wonderful, small program that can handle most simple photo editing and batch conversions. Even handles Avi files. You can find it here:

Hate to be a spoil sport but I thought the GUI was a bit wierd. Maybe I didn't play with it enough, but if I remember correctly, I didn't like the way the images were displayed. Is there a full screen mode, with just the image and a black background? I can't remember.

I much prefer ACDSee Classic. Pity it's not free.

yes -- if you click on 'image' you will see a shole list of options to choose from. i usually have my set on 'ft only big images to desktop' -- but like i said you have several options.

you can also go into 'options&gt;preferences' and choose what ever suits your needs.

it really is a great program. play around with it - i am sure you will like it.
