Favorites alphabetized?

Everytime I set the Favorites folder to be sorted by Name in Explorer it does sort them for some of the folders but not all in Favorites. I do this in each folder but the next favorite I add goes to the bottom not in alphabetical order? Why is this? How can I get this right?

Right-click anywhere in the Favorites menu and select 'Sort by Name' and you're done. I'm not sure of a way to have this established as a default, though. I'd sure like to know, myself...

The Sort by Name feature really doesn't work all that well and drag & drop is about the only way to make sure the job gets done right. Any Favorite you add is going to end up at the bottom of the list by default.

In WinMe, with both IE5.5 and IE6, I click on Favorites on the Menu Bar (NOT the toolbar) of IE. Then I right click on any favorite and select Sort by Name. Next, I do the same with any folder I've created within Favorites. Everything stays sorted fine until I add a new favorite. Then I just Sort by Name again. No problem.
