HTML Graphics doesn't work (W2K)

Hello Everyone, i'm running win2k, explorer 6.0 and i got all the service packs necessarily. My problem is when i browse on the internet, ANY sites that has HTML Graphics doesn't work for me. For example emoticon, it doesn't move, just freezes. Any solution to this matter is appreciated. Thanks alot guy.

Try going to IE, Tools, Internet Options, Advanced and under the Multimedia section place checks next to 'Play animations in web pages' and next to 'Show Pictures'
Click Apply and OK.

It has always been checked. :( please help I really need to get this running. Life sucks without HTML.
