While connected to a lan, the proxy setting for my users is locked down using an IEAK script so that they cannot change it. But occasionally, some laptop users travel and have had a need to use an internet connection other than dial-up. For example, one user attempted to use the high speed internet connection offered at his hotel but because of our default proxy settings, it would not allow him to get connected. Is there a way that the proxy settings can be locked down while connected to our network but made available when the user is using a non-network high speed internet connection? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
